Introduction

To make ethical decisions without feeling like you are out of pocket or missing out on something can be difficult in the world that we live in.
As a consumer it is easy to forget the implications of the things we buy. I feel like in the past I was quite conscious of the benefits of buying locally, organic, cruelty-free, etc, etc. but there were so many moments on impulse or on seeing a shop promotion that these things would disappear from my mind.

I have decided to crate this blog to keep track and share the information that I have learned, keep a log of more the more ethical ways of living a modern lifestyle without giving up on the things I enjoy and reducing the harm caused by my choices.

I have been making special effort this new year to research and buy only cruelty free cosmetics. I came across YouTuber Lex from Tyrannasauruslexx who explains how confusing this can be but also helps us out with how to filter  and cut out those brands who are making money on the back of animal testing, she explains the ways things unfortunately, are very well...

I had previously thought that I had in fact been buying cruelty free brands but after doing further research I realise now there is more to it. I am now trying to find alternatives, this blog will hopefully help to keep me on the right track and a place where I can share what I learn for a clearer conscience.

Thanks,
Lana
